Dyslexia is a language-based learning difference. It has nothing to do with intelligence or effort — kids with dyslexia are often bright, creative, and deeply curious. Their brains simply process written language differently, which can make reading and spelling feel like trying to read through water.
The East Central Illinois Children's Dyslexia Center provides one-on-one, structured literacy tutoring to children in our community — at no cost to their families. Every coin in this series directly supports that mission.
